Welcome back to our League of Legends global power rankings. Every week, we look at each team in the five major regions and rank them according to how they are currently performing. Were starting with Week 6 of the North American/European League Championship Series, Week 7 of League Championships Korea, Week 6 of the League Pro League and Week 4 of the League Master Series. The +/- indicates the change since the previous ranking.Nos. 1-10 -- World contendersNos. 11-20 -- Playoff contendersNos. 21-30 -- Middle of the packNos. 31-40 -- StrugglingNos. 41-50 -- Bottom of the barrelWorld contenders1. SK Telecom T1Record: 9-3 (20-7) | League: LCK | +/-: no changeFaker celebrated 1,000 kills in Champions Korea, and T1 can pop the champagne as it stays atop of our Global Power Rankings for another week. The world champions dont look as clean as they did back in Shanghai for the Mid-Season Invitational, but well give them the benefit of the doubt as the South Korean season rumbles to a close. The Tigers, Samsung and KT look to be the three teams with the best chance of stopping T1 from getting its fourth straight domestic crown and denying Faker and Bengi their sixth ring.2. EDward GamingRecord: 9-0 (18-4) | League: LPL | +/-: no changeWith Europe looking progressively worse and North America being top-heavy, China looks to insert itself as the second-best region once again. That task begins with EDward Gaming, which has looked nearly flawless in the League Pro League.3. Team SoloMidRecord: 12-0 (24-3) | League: NA LCS | +/-: no changeHave we reached a point where a majority of the readers will agree with our choice of TSM in the third slot? No?OK.At 12-0 with a 24-3 score line in maps, TSM is firing on all cylinders, cruising to a top-two bye in the playoffs alongside Immortals. Week 6 was a quick and clean 4-0 for the three-time NA LCS-winning organization, and the players alongside the management wont be satisfied until it captures its fourth.4. ROX TigersRecord: 9-3 (18-10) | League: LCK | +/-: no changeWhenever the Tigers dont face SKT, the perennial runners-up in Korea play like the best team in the world. In a world where Faker and T1 dont exist, were talking about the Tigers dynasty and its top laner Smeb as the best top laner to ever touch the game. Alas, T1 is not just a mere fantasy.5. Royal Never Give UpRecord: 9-1 (19-4) | League: LPL | +/-: no changeRoyal managed to take down Snake Esports and Game Talents this week, both of which are upper-middle-of-the-pack teams. Its likely Royal will continue its tyranny against lesser opponents, and could very well end up in the LPL finals.6. Flash WolvesRecord: 5-0-0 | League: LMS | +/-: no changeDid not compete this week.7. ImmortalsRecord: 11-1 (23-6) | League: NA LCS | +/-: no changeSimilar to TSM, it feels like Immortals are biding their time until they face SoloMid for the top spot in the league. Reignover, the reigning MVP, is establishing himself as the main non-TSM candidate for the award this split, and he has three weeks left to take it away from the likes of Bjergsen and Doublelift.8. Samsung GalaxyRecord: 9-3 (18-8) | League: LCK | +/-: +3Still viewed as a tier below T1 and the Tigers, Samsungs 9-3 record has silenced any doubt of it not being a contender to make it back to worlds later this year. Crown has established himself as one of the premier mid laners in Korea (and thus, the world), and CuVees evolution in the top lane has shown through with clutch performances.9. KT RolsterRecord: 7-5 (17-13) | League: LCK | +/-: -1Four straight losses to SKT T1 and ROX Tigers later, and KT is now sitting in fourth place in the league. A top-10 team still, KT can make up ground in the standings with an easier upcoming schedule of Jin Air (struggling), MVP (rookie), Longzhu (more than struggling), EVER (rookie) and CJ Entus (more than struggling).10. J TeamRecord: 4-1-0 | League: LMS | +/-: +9J Team finally proved that it can move on from outside challenger to second best. After a fairly convincing 2-0 over ahq on the wings of FoFos excellent Anivia performances, the team comfortably sits in second place. J Team still has its flaws in the late game, but has proved to be a team worth sending to worlds.Playoff contenders11. MVPRecord: 6-6 (14-13) | League: LCK | +/-: +2A win over T1 could have rocketed the rookies into the top 10, and that dream was silently put to bed when the world champions blanked MVP in a 2-0 series. Still, MVP held its own for the majority of the contest, and the organization that helped create the Samsung White and Blue dynasty is our best bet at getting the last spot in the playoffs.12. I MayRecord: 6-3 (14-17) | League: LPL | +/-: +5Picking Chinas third-best team would normally be a toss-up, but I May looks like it might be it. It took down Invictus Gaming, which doesnt mean much in the grand scheme of things, but continuous, strong victories over the likes of Game Talents and Newbee make I May look like it can keep moving up the chain.13. Team LiquidRecord: 7-5 (16-13) | League: NA LCS | +/-: +2A win versus Immortals would have been a coup for TL, but a close 1-2 loss and a win to end out the week versus Echo Fox will be enough to keep it in the conversation for an outside shot at a bye in the first round. Liquid has gone 7-2 in its past nine matches, and is in position to make another semifinals.14. G2 EsportsRecord: 6-6-0 | League: EU LCS | +/-: -5Europe is not nearly as strong as it once was, and that is reflected in G2 Esports recent play since dropping Kikis. G2 Esports had a bumpy week last week, tying with Giants Gaming and beating Team ROCCAT. Its likely still the best in Europe, but how does that stack up internationally?15. FnaticRecord: 6-3-3 | League: EU LCS | +/-: -5Fnatic had a bad week as well. The team took down Vitality as it should. However, it tied with the Unicorns of Love, which raises red flags. This is a bad sign for Fnatic and Europe, which looks the weakest it has been in several seasons.16. Afreeca FreecsRecord: 5-6 (11-14) | League: LCK | +/-: -2Same old, same old with Afreeca. A loss to the ESC EVER derailed their playoff hopes, and the Freecs will now need an inspired run like last split to break into the top five for a shot at the world championships. Luckily, Jin Air still exists.17. Cloud9Record: 7-5 (17-3) | League: NA LCS | +/-: -1While the loss to TSM is going to rein in expectations, C9 and its fans shouldnt be too unhappy. The boys clad in blue and white are in a safe spot in playoff positioning, and can still make a run if Immortals uncharacteristically slip up in the dying rounds.18. Ahq e-Sports ClubRecord: 4-0-2 | League: LMS | +/-: -6Ahq finally succumbed to its fate and dropped yet another spot in the LMS standings. The team was routed by J Team while running its traditional lineup but bounced back with a 2-0 win over HKE while also giving jungle prospect BayBay his first start over Mountain.19. Team WERecord: 6-4 (15-11) | League: LPL | +/-: +1Similar to I May, Team WE is working to cement itself as the third-best team in China. It has yet to do so since it lost to EDward Gaming in poor fashion. It did beat Saint Gaming, but that means relatively nothing.20. Snake EsportsRecord: 5-4 (11-9) | League: LPL | +/-: +1Snake Esports lost to Royal Never Give Up last week, which isnt surprising considering Royals fantastic form. Snake is in a good position, however, as it sits second in Group A and has the chance to make the playoffs if it continues to win.Middle of the pack21. Splyce GamingRecord: 5-5-2 | League: EU LCS | +/-: +5Splyce looks like itll make a run for third/fourth finish in Europe this year. This week, it reassured viewers that it deserves to be talked about, as it took down ROCCAT and FC Schalke 04 in very convincing fashion. Could this be the time that the raw talent on Splyce finally pays off?22. Vici GamingRecord: 5-4 (10-10) | League: LPL | +/-: +6Vici Gaming took down Game Talents in convincing fashion. This week will show how it matches up against the remainder of the middle of the pack as it faces off against Invictus Gaming and Snake Esports.23. Counter Logic GamingRecord: 6-6 (15-14) | League: NA LCS | +/-: +7Nice to see you in the top half of the rankings again, Counter Logic. CLG wasnt the prettiest in its 2-0 match week -- dropping a game to Phoenix1 before rallying back to win two in a row -- but it got the job done, and the repeating champions are back in playoff contention with three weeks to go.24. Giants GamingRecord: 5-2-5 | League: EU LCS | +/-: +19Like Splyce, Giants Gaming takes a giant climb in the rankings this week after making itself a serious competitor by tying with G2 Esports and beating H2k Gaming, both phenomenal feats for a team that has rebuilt itself entirely this year.25. Hong Kong EsportsRecord: 2-1-3 | League: LMS | +/-: -1Sometimes, talent ceilings just dont pan out in League of Legends, with Hong Kong eSports showing that so far. Mustering 1-1 with Midnight Sun and hardly being competitive with ahq doesnt bode well for the future, but theres still hope with its jungle prospect.26. Jin Air Green WingsRecord: 5-7 (12-16) | League: LCK | +/-: -3Its just depressing talking about Jin Air. The slow, methodical style that got it into the top five on our Global Power Rankings weeks ago has been figured out, and the teams overall raw strength isnt high enough to grind out victories over more talented teams. Goodbye, top 10. Goodbye, top 20. Next stop: bottom 10?27. ESC EVERRecord: 4-7 (10-16) | League: LCK | +/-: +2EVER is a crafty bunch. Right when youre ready to write them off from having any shot in the playoffs, the rookies steal a match against the Afreeca Freecs. MVP, the other rookie club, is positioned well to finish in the top five, but EVER believes its season isnt done just yet.28. Game TalentsRecord: 5-5 (11-12) | League: LPL| +/-: -10Game Talents had a rough week this week as they lost to Royal Never Give Up and Vici Gaming. As a result of the poor showing, Game Talents continue to move down in the ranking.29. Team EnVyUsRecord: 6-6 (12-16) | League: NA LCS | +/-: -7Envy got off to a hot start but has become ice cold the past three weeks. Another winless weekend has dropped it down to a .500 record after beginning the season with a perfect record. The likes of fellow rookie squads Apex Gaming and Phoenix1 are still holding out hope to snatch away the final postseason slot.30. Machi 17Record: 2-1-2 | League: LMS | +/-: +1Did not compete this week.Struggling31. Unicorns of LoveRecord: 3-4-5 | League: EU LCS | +/-: +13The Unicorns of Love have consistently impressed, continuing last week to beat Origen and tie with Fnatic, which is good news for a team that several weeks ago looked like it was the worst in the European League Championship Series. Unicorns arent far from being in the playoff picture, and if they continue these types of performances, its definitely possible.32. H2K GamingRecord: 4-6-2 | League: EU LCS | +/-: -5Just below the Unicorns is H2k Gaming, the former third-best team in Europe, a team many considered to be a contender for the title this year. It has not lived up to expectations, losing to Giants last week. That could change if it uses its new substitute FORG1VEN, who was a member of the team in the spring.33. FC Schalke 04Record: 3-5-4 | League: EU LCS | +/-: -8Three European teams in a row may seem excessive, but the reality is Europe is currently a toss-up in the rankings, and it seems these three teams balance out in the middle. FC Schalke 04 is a part of that crew, as it lost to H2k and Splyce this week.34. Apex GamingRecord: 5-7 (13-16) | League: NA LCS | +/-: +1Not much to say when it comes to Apex. It grabbed a win in its first match of the week, but it was handily defeated by TSM by weekends end. At 5-7, Apex isnt in the best spot to make the playoffs; however, as long as Envy keeps dropping like a rock down the ladder, the Lions could have prey to strike.35. Midnight Sun EsportsRecord: 2-1-2 | League: LMS | +/-: +7A 1-1 with HKE, this week is likely as good as its going to get for this lineup, but MSE has clearly separated itself from the bottom of the LMS, being closer to Machis current standing. M1ssion carry is the steady, but dangerous identity of the team, with the mid laner providing 37 percent of his teams damage.36. VitalityRecord: 2-6-4 | League: EU LCS | +/-: -4Team Vitality is also a decent middle-of-the-pack team in Europe. It lost to Fnatic this week, which is not even remotely surprising, but took down Origen, which means it teeters somewhere in the middle.37. CJ EntusRecord: 2-9 (8-19) | League: LCK | +/-: +1Will play Longzhu Gaming tomorrow in a battle to see which team in LCK is truly the worst.38. Longzhu GamingRecord: 2-9 (6-18) | League: LCK | +/-: -6Will play CJ Entus tomorrow in a battle to see which team in LCK is truly the worst.39. NewbeeRecord: 4-6 (10-15) | League: LPL | +/-: -6Newbee is one of the sadder storylines of the LPL. The team, at face value, has talent that should make it at least a middle-of-the-pack team. But that didnt show this week, or most of this split for that matter, as it lost to OMG. Its win against LGD is the only reason its keeping afloat.40. Phoenix1Record: 2-10 (8-22) | League: NA LCS | +/-: +5Look whos going up in the world! P1 was possibly one ill-fortuned Baron call away from sweeping CLG and putting itself right in the playoff hunt following a 0-9 start. Although Phoenix1 eventually lost 1-2 to CLG, the team has shown improvement, and has gone from being a joke to becoming no laughing matter for any team to face.Bottom of the barrel41. LGD GamingRecord: 3-6 (8-13) | League: LPL | +/-: -5Losing to Newbee, a team that lost to OMG days before, is not a good sign for LGD Gaming. Its not the worst team in China, but its most definitely in the bottom of the standings in China.42. NRG EsportsRecord: 3-9 (9-19) | League: NA LCS | +/-: -6At 3-9, NRG Esports is a mess. When you look at the starting five, this team should be much better than it is performing. GBM and Ohq arent on the same page as their teammates, and even Santorin having a stellar comeback season to NA isnt helping things when it comes to the standings ladder. Mixed-language teams have failed before in NA, and it looks like this will be another case of talent not breeding results.43. OrigenRecord: 1-6-5 | League: EU LCS | +/-: -9Origen is now infinitely harder to rank as it has picked up Challenger AD carry Toaster, who previously played with Exertus Esports. Its hard to say if hell be better or worse than Enrique xPeke Cede?o Martínez. But based on current results, which include recent losses to Team Vitality and Unicorns of Love, Origen is left on the lower half of Europe.44. Invictus GamingRecord: 2-7 (9-15) | League: LPL | +/-: -3Invictus Gaming continues to fall in the global power rankings after taking a loss to I May. The once third best in China has a lot of work to do to avoid being put into the relegation tournament.45. eXtreme GamersRecord: 1-0-5 | League: LMS | +/-: +5XG proved that it was indeed not the worst team in the LMS, showing a level of class above the likes of Team Mist. SuwaKo and LBB are a pretty good carry duo for this team and if Yo can get Reksai, things arent so bad.46. Saint GamingRecord: 1-9 (5-18) | League: LPL | +/-: +2Youre telling me Saint Gaming won a game? Formerly the worst team in the power rankings, Saint Gaming moves up two spots as it took down OMG last week, which is a pleasant surprise. It still doesnt make things better, but hey, a wins a win.47. OMGRecord: 2-8 (6-17) | League: LPL | +/-: -1We all knew OMG was bad, but losing to arguably the worst team in the LPL spells grave things. Its only saving grace is a victory over Newbee, but in the grand scheme of things, OMG has a lot to worry about.48. Team ROCCATRecord: 1-5-6 | League: EU LCS | +/-: -8Coming into the split, many, including us, believed in Team ROCCATs new South Korean blood, top laner Parang and support Raise. The most questionable piece of the lineup was jungler Airwaks, whom the team replaced yesterday in favor of former Nerv jungler Memento.49. Echo FoxRecord: 1-11 (7-22) | League: NA LCS | +/-: -2Not like this, Echo Fox. Not like this. Its sad seeing the team this far down. A playoff contender heading into the season, nothing has gone right for the Foxes after an optimistic Week 1. Shoddy shot-calling, needless deaths and a lack of synergy have killed them this split. Getting relegated to the minor leagues is now more likely for EFX than getting into the postseason.50. Team MistRecord: 0-0-6 | League: LMS | +/-: -1Team Mist is no Cougar, but its starting to look like the team may not pick up a win this split. It would be fair punishment for allowing Yo to play Reksai two games in a row.Jets Jerseys China .
